Here at Woodley Equipment Company, we’re immensely proud of our 33-year history, starting as a small family business in the north of England and growing into an international multi-divisional company supplying equipment to the medical and veterinary sectors worldwide. Even more rewarding is the fact that we’ve managed to keep the same tight-knit and supportive culture that has been present from our inception.

There’s nothing we value more than relationships. In fact, it’s these partnerships with our suppliers that allowed us to weather the COVID-19 storm and continue to deliver equipment to customers around the globe, during a time when many of our competitors simply couldn’t follow suit. However, the relationships we cherish the most are those we have with our workforce. Whether it’s an account manager working at our UK headquarters, or a field service technician travelling to a territory to provide valuable assistance to our customers, we appreciate each and every one of them and strive to ensure that everyone has an equal voice. We’re proud of the melting pot of cultures, educational backgrounds, and industry experience within the business, and recognize that every individual contributes a unique set of ideas and opinions, ensuring that Woodley Equipment Company remains greater than the sum of its parts.

Our recruitment ethos thrives on choosing enthusiastic candidates who share the company’s vision for quality service and a supportive, caring environment. We firmly believe that attention to detail at this stage, along with a generous staff reward scheme, has contributed to our remarkably low staff turnover rate, with many of our personnel reaching milestones of five, 10, 15 and even 20 years employment. And, on 25th May, at the Bridge Hotel in Bolton, we celebrated this loyalty, playing host to an evening of Long Service Awards, where 32 long-serving members of staff were wined and dined, and presented with gifts to acknowledge their valuable contributions. The continued growth and success of the business is down to our incredible work force, and it was an honour to be able to reward the dedicated individuals who make up the lifeblood of Woodley Equipment Company.
