This is an integral post that supports the achievement of the Division’s targets and its ongoing global expansion. You will manage contracts with a worldwide reach.

  • Executive Visibility: You will work directly with our CEO to assist in the development of a cutting-edge CLM Contract Management system.
  • Managerial Responsibility: This role includes both the hands-on execution of contracts and the management of one staff member, ensuring effective communication regarding timescales and conditions.
  • Core Function: You will be integral in the creation and negotiations of both customer and supplier contract agreements.

Core Responsibilities

The holder of this post will be instrumental in ensuring contractual and commercial risks to the Company are minimised.

  • Contract Execution: Point of contact for incoming contract enquiries, discussing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts within an established framework.
  • Documentation: Preparation of Master Service Agreements, project related agreements, NDAs, and variations to existing contracts.
  • Process Management: Utilise the company’s quality system for effective version control and contract renewal date management. You will also drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaising with internal stakeholders in our UK and USA teams and external stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for people who bring a positive/can do attitude.

  • Skills: You must possess relevant commercial contract experience, solid analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and be proficient in working with MS Office applications.
  • Work Style: You must be able to effectively multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure to meet deadlines. You should have assertive conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills, and the ability to be diplomatic when negotiating.
  • Experience & Qualifications: A degree or equivalent experience is essential. You will have a proven track record in a similar role, be computer literate, and commercially orientated.
  • Collaboration: It is essential that you have the capacity to work with colleagues at all levels, can work as part of a team, and the ability to work on your own initiative whilst maintaining a team approach.
