Accounts Coordinator (12 month maternity cover)

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Accounts Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month temporary basis to cover maternity leave. In this role, you will report directly to the Accounts Supervisor and play a crucial role in maintaining the financial well-being of our global operations.

Successful conclusion of the 12-month contract comes with a completion bonus.

What does an Accounts Coordinator do?

As an Accounts Coordinator, you'll play a key role in responding to customer inquiries about billing and payment issues, ensuring their prompt resolution. You'll also be responsible for performing regular account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and compliance. Managing overdue payments and supporting the Accounts Receivable Coordinator in handling debts will be part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

You'll contribute to month-end procedures by resolving processing issues and preparing detailed reports. Additionally, you'll work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate setup of new customers and the raising of advance invoices. Preparing account summaries and reports, either for customers or internal teams, will be part of your routine tasks.

You'll provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support the finance team and the wider business. Collaboration with internal teams will be crucial in streamlining processes and enhancing overall efficiency.

About You

We seek someone with a proven track record and a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in accounts, billing, or a related finance role. You should work well with colleagues at all levels, be able to work on your initiative, and maintain a positive, can-do attitude. We value strong time-management, people skills, flexibility, and the ability to multitask.
