This cabinet employs a pure-white LED light source. Thanks to the utilisation of cutting-edge LED technology, this illuminator boasts a significantly smaller footprint, measuring just 3.0 inches deep, in contrast to traditional ETDRS light boxes.
The ETDRS offers low-cost maintenance and usage. With LEDs boasting a longevity of 50,000 hours (equivalent to over 20 years of normal use), compared to fluorescent bulbs that require replacement approximately every 2,000 hours or about once a year.
