477L Upright ULT Freezer -90°C (230V)
A full-size upright ULT freezer for long-term storage at -40°C to -90°C, with capacity for up to 352 standard 2" boxes. It suits central labs, depots and high-enrolment sites that need to hold large sample volumes for the life of a study.
Two insulated inner doors limit warm air getting in when the freezer is opened, and the cabinet recovers to -80°C in around 18 minutes after a one-minute door opening. If the power fails, it takes almost four hours to warm from -80°C to -60°C, which gives staff time to respond.
An internal data logger with USB read-out, an Ethernet interface and a zero-voltage alarm contact allow connection to site monitoring and alarm systems.
